Costa Almeria is located in the Eastern most Province of Andalucía and is Spain, and mainland Europe's, warmest and sunniest region claiming 320 days, over 3000 hours, of sunshine a year.

Situated between the towns of Mojacar and Vera the townhouse is on a recently built privately owned complex on the outskirts of Garrucha. There is an Aqua Park nearby and the award winning Vera Playa beach is only a 5 minute walk, you are also within easy walking distance of the town, harbour and all amenities.

The nearest airport, Almeria, is approximately a 45 minute drive away, Alicante and Murcia (San Javiar) are a 2 hour drive.

Due to the area's upcoming popularity budget airlines such as EasyJet, BMI Baby, Flybe, Jet2, Ryanair and Thomson Fly service these airports. Cheap flights are available year round, making Costa de Almeria the ideal holiday destination.

The child friendly complex boasts enclosed swimming pools and an infants pool for residents use only with a lifeguard normally on duty in the high season. The area is surrounded by well maintained gardens and flower adorned walkways.

Numerous golf courses are close by for the golf enthusiast, including the Indiana Course designed by Peter McEvoy, the successful Walker Cup captain, on the Desert Springs Golf Resort, and Marina Golf Mojacar, a new 18 hole, par 72 golf course of 5,464 meters, both offering a demanding challenge to any keen golfer.

If skiing or snowboarding is your passion the Sierra Nevada ski resort, with night skiing available and open from December to April, is approximately 3 hours away.

There are many opportunities to test your fishing skills with sea fishing from the shore or charter boats, or try your hand at course fishing in the inland lakes, reservoirs and rivers.
